How to Reset the Toner Levels on a Brother TN-223, TN-227 Series Laser Printer
By resetting your Brother printer’s page counter, you can avoid having to reset your cartridge’s flag gear or having to install one on a starter cartridge. Resetting the page counter is easier than resetting the cartridge’s gear as it requires no disassembly. This procedure is also highly recommended before refilling so as to extend the life of your cartridge, making full use of the toner inside for additional cost savings.

If you will be refilling a starter cartridge (one that came with the printer when bought), please ensure that your printer will allow you to access the reset menu before placing your order. Do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

    Hello,
I’m very disappoint on my Brother DCP-3510CDW printer.
I print a lot and this printer is draining me from the money.
I’m buying cheap toners, and they are not working always after replacing.
I did the reset recommendation from the page and this is not helping even on another new – cheap toners too.
    I’m tired of this printer.

They do not clear. 3rd party ink wear out the chips. Brother have the cheapest toner out there when compare to HP and other printers.
